Abide, Sweet Spirit – Hymns of Dawn No. 1
Lyrics
1.
Abide, sweet Spirit, heav’nly Dove,
With light and comfort from above;
Be thou our guardian, thou our guide;
O’er ev’ry thought and step preside.
2.
To us the light of truth display,
And make us know and choose thy way;
Plant holy fear in ev’ry heart,
That we from God may ne’er depart.
3.
Lead us in holiness, the road
Which we must keep to dwell with God;
Lead us in Christ, the living way;
Nor let us from his pastures stray.
4.
Teach us in watchfulness and prayer
To wait for thine appointed hour;
And fit us by thy grace to share
The triumphs of thy conq’ring pow’r.
Doxology
Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him all creatures here below;
Praise Him aloud with heart and voice,
And always in His Son rejoice.

Warm Christian greetings from the Associated Bible Students of South Carolina.
Thank you for the care and effort you have put into your Hymns of Dawn videos. We appreciate your loving service in making these hymns available for the encouragement of the brethren.
Would you be willing to provide a link to download your complete collection, preferably as MP4 files containing both video and sound? This is the playlist I found on your YouTube channel:
Hymns of Dawn playlist
We would like to watch and listen offline and use the hymns during our Bible-study sessions. Direct downloads would also help us avoid the distractions and potentially unsuitable content that can appear alongside YouTube videos, as well as unfamiliar third-party download sites.
With your permission, I would also like to make the videos available on our website, abssc.us, and a few other Bible Student websites. I am also developing a Bible-study program called Paul and would be grateful for permission to include the recordings for offline use there.
Please let us know whether these uses would be acceptable and any conditions you would like us to observe. We would gladly acknowledge your work and include links to your website.
Thank you again for your kindness and your labours on behalf of the Lord’s people.
“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”
— Hebrews 6:10, KJV
